There are increasing fears amongst traders and residents in the Atebubu Amantin Municipality of the Bono East Region.
The worrying development is the recent shooting of Mr.Suraj Mohammed, an NDC branch chairman who was returning from Yeji.
According to the traders, due to the rampant robbery at various market centres in the area has contributed to the collapsing of Atebubu, Yeji, Kwame Danso, Kajeji Market centers
The residents attributed these rampant robberies to the bad state of the roads.
Some of the traders who shared their experiences appealed to the Bono East Regional Police commander to provide enough security to address the situation to boost economic activities in the region.
