Ghana Registered Nurses' and Midwives' Association has warned broadcast journalists, Captain Smart and Jonny Hughes for throwing dust into the eyes of the public
Speaking at Peace FM after the association has suspended their strike which was started on 2nd June, 2025, Mr. Philimon Gyapong the deputy PRO for GRNMA said, the above mentioned journalists show fake documents on their Media stations which did not go well with them (GRNMA)
Mr. Gyapong said there was nothing like Funeral allowances in their demands, so they were angry to see Captain Smart and Jonny Hughes posting such documents on live TV during their strike days just to deceive the public.
Ghana Registered Nurses' and Midwives' Association has called all its members to Suspend the Strike and resume work tomorrow, Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Mr. Gyapong said the strike was suspended due to the assurance from their recent meeting with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health which has been rescheduled to two weeks
