The Kwahu West Municipal Ambulance, with the registration number GV-576-20, was involved in an accident while carrying a patient from Nkawkaw to Abirem for a CT scan.
One person was reported dead in the ambulance service bus accident. The eyewitness told the media that the accident occurred between Mpimtimpi and Bednagya, both towns along the Nkawkaw-Abirem Highway.
All other persons who were on board are currently receiving emergency treatment. Authorities have since intervened to ensure the situation is under control.
