Ghanaian musician Samini has acknowledged Black Sherif's strong presence in the music industry, attributing the artist's success to his hard work and dedication. In a recent video shared online on February 19, 2025, Samini, who has closely followed Black Sherif's journey, stated that the artist's success stems from his persistence and commitment to music. "Right now, we’re in the Blacko era, unless a new artist comes up with a fresh sound. Blacko has introduced his own style, and now we see about five or six artists trying to imitate him. This shows how much people regard his sound as the standard; only someone bold enough to bring something completely different can change that. It’s truly the Blacko era," Samini remarked.
He further highlighted that while other artists such as Fameye, Lasmid, Olivetheboy, and King Paluta are also doing well, Black Sherif's unique blend of melodies and authenticity sets him apart. "No disrespect to other artists; I enjoy Fameye's, Lasmid's, Olivetheboy's, and King Paluta's music, but Blacko's work has reached a level that clearly shows why he is where he is today. With a label like Blacko's, these other artists could have achieved the same or even more. His music resonates deeply with people, making it evident why it’s his time. He has carved out a space for himself that others are now striving to reach," Samini added.
