The MP for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency, Hon Bismark Tetteh Nyarko has announced a significant initiative to support final year Junior High School (JHS) students preparing for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Upper Manya Krobo in Eastern Region is blessed to have an MP who sees education as a paramount tool.
Hon. Nyarko is sponsoring science practical lessons for a total of 1,153 students across the constituency.
This initiative aims to enhance the students' practical understanding of science concepts, which is crucial for their success in the upcoming examinations.
The science practical lessons will be held at two locations:
April 29th, 2025: Church of Pentecost, Sekesua
April 30th, 2025: Christ Apostolic Chapel, Asesewa
The MP is covering the cost of 40Ghc per student, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their access to this valuable educational opportunity.
Speaking with the Media, Hon Nyarko said, Science practicals are essential for students to grasp the practical applications of scientific theories,
"By sponsoring these lessons, we are investing in the future of our students and empowering them to excel in their examinations. I believe that this initiative will contribute significantly to their academic performance and overall development."
