Ghanaian comic actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lil Win, has launched a fundraising campaign to support the production of his upcoming biopic on Ibrahim Traoré, shortly after reportedly rejecting a $20,000 bribe to halt the project. In a video shared on social media, Lil Win urged local television stations to buy the film's rights, emphasizing the importance of showcasing local stories.

He is seeking to secure deals with just four TV channels, each for a price of Gh₵ 100,000. "This is an exciting new film, and I invite all Ghanaian TV stations to come forward and purchase the rights," he stated. "We need only four channels to grab the exclusive premiere rights before we negotiate with others."

Lil Win expressed his gratitude for the support of fans and urged them to prepare their funds for this unique opportunity. "We appreciate your support, and we hope to see you backing us," he added. After the exclusive premiere, the movie will be made available to additional channels and eventually released on YouTube.

His commitment to bringing local stories to the forefront is evident, and he hopes this film will resonate with audiences both in Ghana and beyond.
