Ghanaians are urged to be cautious about Hepatitis B, a dangerous and highly contagious disease that can spread easily and be fatal if left unchecked. Dr. Seth Lomaza, a specialist at Sanford Health Center in Kasoa, warns that Hepatitis B can progress faster than HIV, emphasizing the importance of regular check-ups and adherence to treatment plans.
Speaking at a free health screening event organized by Agnes Sarpong Welfare at Kasoa Adom Estate, Dr. Lomaza advised individuals diagnosed with Hepatitis B to seek medical attention and manage related conditions, such as blood pressure.
The event, led by founder Mrs. Agnes Sarpong, a retired educationist and philanthropist, aimed to support vulnerable communities. Mrs. Sarpong shared her motivations for this initiative and distributed gospel books, spreading a message of hope and wellness.
